Allowed advertising exists to provide opportunities and services to visitors who may wish to
avail themselves of the offers made by advertisers.
Allowing sponsorship
and advertisers on the website allows us to continue to develop new
content and resources for delivery online. We rely on advertising to
generate revenue to help support this website.

is funded entirely by RAP, and any monies that accrue from the displays of
advertising, and from the sale of any products or services found on this

other organization, company, individual, or other entity or institution
provides funds for this site and its maintenance.
We in
no way endorse any sponsor or product advertised on our website.
Advertisers are accepted according to their relevance to health care
professionals, medical consumers and travelers. This is done in the form
of hyper linked banners, buttons & text throughout the site. RAP has
banner ads on most of its pages to offset the cost of running the website.
All
profits from the advertising goes back into developing this service and
for direct patient care and education.
We do not allow outside advertisers to affect the quality or
accuracy of information on our site, and we maintain a stringent policy of
editorial independence. We maintain complete editorial independence with
respect to our content in every circumstance. We do not permit advertisers
or other third-party sponsors to make changes to content, or to introduce
biased content into the design of our site. We clearly identify all
advertisements, sponsorships, and sponsor-related material on the site. We
separate this material from medical or health-related content and
tools.
The acceptance of advertising on this website does not
constitute or imply endorsement by us and we reserve the right to refuse
any advertiser. The team insures they meet our strict standards of quality
will review all potential advertisers' websites. We take no responsibility
for the actions of our sponsors. Purchase of products and services offered
by other companies and individuals is covered by warranties and guarantees
between the purchaser and seller.
We accept no liability for such purchases.
Any conflicts should be resolved
between the sponsor and the consumer. However, we will remove the
advertising of any company we feel has treated our visitors unfairly. We
reserve the right to reject, cancel, or remove at any time any advertising
from the Website for any reason and will provide prompt notice to the
advertiser upon rejection, cancellation, or removal of any advertising,
together with an explanation following the rejection, cancellation, or
removal. We also reserve the right to determine the appropriate placement
of the advertising on the Website. We are very careful in selecting our
sponsors and advertisers. We are sensitive to the requests of our visitors
and partners to limit the amount and types of advertising we allow. We
work with companies and organizations that make or offer products and
services that benefit health care professionals, consumers and travelers -
like medical software and pharmaceutical companies, technology and
Internet partners, travel related companies and the private health
industry. We will NOT accept online sponsorships or advertisements from
companies advocating illegal or objectionable products such as alcohol
consumption, tobacco use, firearms, illegal use of drugs, gambling or
pornography or other objectionable activities or ideas. Advertisements
that involve prejudice or discrimination against any race, color, national
origin, religion, disability or handicap, gender, sexual orientation will
also not be accepted. We reserve the right to reject any other promotion
it deems inappropriate.
It is the responsibility of the Advertiser to comply with all
applicable domestic and foreign laws, including applicable laws and
regulations of regulatory bodies. This includes pharmaceutical advertising
to physicians and consumers that must be in compliance with applicable
guidelines for Direct to Physician (DTP) and Direct to Consumer (DTC)
advertising. We will not monitor compliance with applicable laws and
regulations. However, we reserve the right to review all Advertising for
compliance with applicable laws and regulations and, if RAP becomes aware
of any breach or potential breach of any applicable law or regulation or
of these guidelines, we may remove the Advertising.
No Advertising shall be permitted which may injure the interest,
good name or reputation of RAP or the Website.
Such determination as to this type
of content will be determined solely by RAP.
Our advertising policy adheres to the guidelines developed by
the Health on the Net initiative and outlined in the HON Code of
Conduct.
